Gulfstream G700 vs. Global 7500: Two Visions of Long-Range Travel
Ultra-long-range business aircraft are designed around a demanding idea: connect distant cities while making the hours between them productive, restful or both. The Gulfstream G700 and Bombardier Global 7500 are prominent examples of this category, but no single specification tells the full story.
Think beyond the brochure
Published range figures are based on defined assumptions. Actual trip capability depends on passenger and baggage loads, winds, routing, reserves, airport conditions and operating requirements. The most useful comparison starts with the real itinerary, not the headline number.
Cabin configuration matters just as much. Sleeping arrangements, dining or conference areas, baggage access, connectivity and the way a cabin is divided into zones can influence how comfortable a particular mission feels. Individual aircraft may differ even when they share the same model name.
The right aircraft is not simply the one with the longest range. It is the one that fits the mission, the passengers and the conditions of the journey.
When comparing options, ask for the actual aircraft configuration, a trip-specific quotation and confirmation of any operational limits from the selected operator.
